Use of RAAC in Saxon Weald properties

We understand that some customers may be concerned about the use of RAAC (Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) in their homes. We would like to reassure residents that Saxon Weald is confident that the use of RAAC in its buildings is highly unlikely. This is because the system is commonly only used in situations where wide ceiling spans are required, and not in domestic housing.

 

However, Saxon Weald will continue to examine all super-structure to flat roofing systems, as and when we replace them. We will also review our building information and investigate thoroughly should we find any cause for concern.
