Bennetts Road, Horsham
Demolition of six town-centre properties began this summer to make way for 21 brand new homes for affordable rent. Consisting of a mixture of one and two-bedroom flats and three-bedroom houses, the new site will have the potential to house up to 71 people, compared with just 11 people living there previously. The development has been made possible thanks to a partnership with Horsham District Council, who provided funding for the scheme through Section 106 contributions from private developers. The new homes will be allocated to people on the housing register and are anticipated to be completed by autumn 2021.
