Tenancy fraud is a criminal offence and usually involves the legal tenant leaving the property and subletting it out to another person or persons for profit. It also prevents those who really need affordable housing from accessing it.
If we suspect that a tenant has abandoned their home or is sub-letting it, we will issue a legal Notice to Quit.
