Forming a residents' association

A residents’ association is a group of local people who come together to improve the area they live in. It is a formal group and can include tenants, shared owners, leaseholders, and homeowners.

Why start a residents' association?

You might form a residents’ association for the following reasons:

  • To campaign for something positive e.g., a better play area
  • To improve services provided by Saxon Weald
  • To have a greater voice in the community
  • To keep residents informed of what’s happening in your neighbourhood
