If you have an RTS (radio tele-switch) electricity meter, your energy supply may be affected by forthcoming changes to the system. From June 30, 2025, the technology that supports RTS will switch off and these meters may no longer work properly or know when to swap between peak and off-peak rates. This could mean that your heating and hot water supply stops functioning as normal.
Your electricity supplier owns and maintains your meter. They will get in touch to arrange an upgrade to a smart meter before this deadline. Please check your email and post to ensure you don’t miss any important information.
Your supplier must make sure you have a suitable meter installed, and that your service is not disrupted.
