At Saxon Weald we are passionate about celebrating the individual endeavours of young people who are positively impacting their communities, helping charities or undertaking exceptional activities in support of others.
We also want to provide an opportunity for youths to be recognised for outstanding personal achievements in academia or sport, whilst overcoming challenges.
Voting for our 2026 Youth Awards will open early August!

Last winter, we proudly celebrated outstanding young people from our local community at our fourth annual Youth Awards. The event recognised achievements across six categories and the winners were selected by members of Saxon Weald staff and Board, as well as Youth Provision Officer for Horsham District Council, Dan Fairchild. Our 2025 awards were generously sponsored by Jewson Partnership Solutions and kindly hosted by Horsham District Council.
These awards highlighted young people making a real difference through learning, leadership, community work, fundraising, and sport.
The 2025 winners were:
Local Community Award – Daisy Bell
Achievement in Learning Award – Isaac Perry
Young Carer Award – Gracie and Caleb Jones
Sport and Physical Activity Award – Isabel Jones
Young Leader Award – Serena Perriton
Fundraiser of the year Award - Pollie Danzelman-Whiteman
Each winner was presented with a certificate, trophy, and £100 shopping voucher.

This award is to recognise and celebrate the contribution and leadership a young person has made to a group (this could be a youth group, Scouts, Cubs etc.) This includes those who:
Fundraiser of the Year Award
To recognise young people who have raised money for a particular charity.

For 2026, nominations will open Early August.
Winners will each receive a £100 voucher of their choice, while runners-up will each receive a £50 voucher of their choice. All winners and runners-up will be invited to an awards ceremony on in winter 2026.

Nominees do not have to be Saxon Weald or Weald Living customers, but must live within the areas Saxon Weald works (Sussex and Hampshire). The awards are open to any young person in the community, however, nominees must be aged 18 or under. Nominations must be submitted through the awards nomination form by midnight on Friday 14 November 2025. Nominations must include details of the person making the nomination, the nominee, as well as the reason for the nomination. The winner will be chosen by Saxon Weald's Customer Experience team and notified by telephone, email or in writing. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.

Therefore, once they have been informed, we will seek written permission from the winners' parents or guardians to share their full name and picture publicly.
