Southern Water has announced that it is to increase its household bills in line with inflation for the 2023-24 period.
This means that customers who pay for water and wastewater services can expect a 9% increase on their charges, with an average annual bill rising from £439 to £479. Customers with water only bills will see costs rising by 7.7% and those with waste only by 10%.
