Wilder Horsham

Date: 22 April 2021

It’s Earth Day today and this year the theme is ‘Restore Our Earth’.

Wilder Horsham

Every year, people from around the world come together to promote awareness of the health of our environment. Throughout the day, information and ideas will be shared to raise awareness of the ways we can help restore the world’s ecosystem.

The Wilder Horsham Project, which is being run by Horsham District Council in partnership with Sussex Wildlife Trust, is working to deliver a nature recovery network for the Horsham District area.

The project aims to help wildlife thrive across the district and for species population to increase, which will ensure they are resilient to change. We’re delighted that local project teams have reached out to us to enquire about planting on our land, and happy to say that we’ve welcomed the project which will help improve the overall environment.
