At least 180 families living in our homes in West Sussex will benefit from a warmer home and cheaper energy bills, thanks to a £1.8 million grant from the Government’s Warm Homes Social Housing Fund.
Saxon Weald will be match-funding the money to create a £3.6 million programme of energy efficiency improvements to some of our customers’ homes. This includes improving insulation, upgrading glazing, and installing environmentally conscious heating solutions.
While saving these customers money, the work will also benefit the environment through reduced energy usage and lower emissions. We’ll be starting on the first 30 homes this spring, with an on-going programme which rolls through to next year.
