We want you to enjoy living in your home and neighbourhood without interference and disturbance from others. Unfortunately, even in the safest of neighbourhoods, anti-social behaviour can occur.

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) is conduct that causes, or is likely to cause, nuisance, annoyance, alarm or distress to others in the community.
Below are examples of the types of behaviour we consider to be ASB, along with how we may respond.
You can also find out more by reading our leaflet (here).
Loud music, shouting or banging
Frequent or persistent noise at unreasonable hours (especially late at night)
We can investigate ongoing noise issues, particularly where they are frequent and unreasonable. We may ask you to keep a record of incidents or provide evidence. Where appropriate, we may take action to resolve the issue.
Everyday household noise, such as footsteps, doors closing or general living noise, would not usually be considered ASB.
We treat these cases very seriously. We will investigate and may work closely with the police or other agencies to take appropriate action.
We treat these cases as high priority and will work closely with the police.
We can investigate and may work with the local authority or other partners to resolve the issue.
We may take action where the issue is ongoing and causing a nuisance to others.
We can investigate some parking-related issues, particularly where safety is a concern. In many cases, parking is managed by local authorities or other agencies, but we will advise and signpost where appropriate.
In some cases, we may not be able to take formal action, particularly where there is limited evidence or the behaviour does not meet the threshold for anti-social behaviour. However, we will always provide advice and support where possible.
