A problem shared is a problem halved - it’s time to talk

At Saxon Weald, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be independent and make the most of their lives. Our floating support service provides the right amount of support to help you live the life you want.

Such support was recently provided for a widowed person who, for a number of different reasons, found themselves socially isolated in a remote village which was contributing to her depression.  After a number of chats with one of our friendly advisors, we were able to arrange contact with societies which provide local activities.  They are now regularly attending these activities and have also joined a local enthusiast club to meet like-minded people.

Such help may seem trivial, but to people living alone, or who lack confidence in taking that initial first step, any help can be life transforming.

Our free services can help in a number of different ways including, managing your money, dealing with paperwork, housing advice or just simply putting you in touch with other organisations that can help. Remember a problem shared is a problem halved – so now is the time to talk.   So do get in touch if you think we could help. You must be a Saxon Weald resident, aged over 55 and live in the Horsham district to qualify.
