Our recruitment process

The recruitment process at Saxon Weald will differ depending on the job being applied for. To ensure that we recruit the most suitable people, we tailor our assessments to specific jobs. If you are short-listed as a potential candidate, you can expect to attend an interview and may be asked to come back in for a second time. In addition, we may also use some alternative methods such as assessment days, presentations and personality profiling. We believe that a dynamic and diverse workforce can have a positive influence on the success of our organisation and welcome applications from all members of the community.
 

From day one

You can expect a warm welcome from Saxon Weald. We do our best to ensure that new employees settle in quickly. We arrange a varied induction programme, helping you to become familiar with the organisation, our culture and our staff. For those that enjoy the occasional social gathering, our friendly team arrange informal evening events and the year is topped off with a Christmas party.

 

It’s not just homes we develop

We have a thorough performance management process, which includes regular one to ones and an annual performance review. This helps employees achieve, and rewards them accordingly. In addition, staff can expect regular individual appraisals, creating positive relationships and understanding between employees and their managers, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Good communication is vital at Saxon Weald. Therefore, we have made it as easy as possible for our staff to obtain information and express any opinions, concerns or ideas they may have. We have a staff forum, which get involved in decisions that affect employees. There is also an informative, internal intranet site.
