Brighton Hill, Basingstoke

Work has begun on a development of 64 Extra Care apartments for people over 60 with care and support needs. This scheme has been funded by the Department of Health and we are working in partnership with Hampshire County Council and Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.

Thirty of the two-bedroom apartments will be for sale on a shared equity basis, where buyers purchase a 75% share of the property with no rent to pay on the 25% retained by Saxon Weald. The scheme is due for completion in April 2011.
