Buildings insurance

As the freeholder of your property, we take out buildings insurance. The insurance premium is covered by the service charges you pay. The policy provides cover for the full cost of rebuilding your flat and block in the event of any loss, damage and even includes any destruction caused by a natural disaster.

If you plan to leave your property for more than 30 days you should inform our leasehold department. If you do not inform us of your absence any insurance claims made may be affected, please read your insurance summary.

Contents insurance

It is your responsibility to arrange contents insurance for your personal belongings and household contents. This should insure you against burglaries, damage caused by fire, leakages and other accidents. It will also cover damage to other people’s property. For example, if your washing machine should overflow and cause damage to a neighbouring property.
