If you have been a tenant for more than a year and have an assured tenancy, you may be entitled to purchase your home under the right to buy or right to acquire schemes.

The right to buy

The right to buy provides people who were tenants of Horsham District Council when we took over their housing stock in 2000, the chance to purchase their home at a discounted rate.

The right to acquire

The right to acquire relates to those tenants that wish to purchase their home, but who have become tenants since Saxon Weald took over Horsham District Council’s homes in 2000.
