been funded by the Department of Health and we are working in
partnership with Hampshire County Council and Basingstoke and

where buyers purchase a 75% share of the property with no rent
to pay on the 25% retained by Saxon Weald. The scheme is due for
completion in April 2011.

We are working on site with Michael Cook Associates and our
construction partner, Mansells, to construct 20 retirement apartments for
affordable rent. The project is due to complete in February 2011. This
scheme is being grant funded by the Homes and Communities
agency.

We have been granted planning permission by Horsham District
Council to build 57 retirement apartments at our existing
Leggyfield Court site. Work will be carried out in two phases, allowing
many of the existing residents to remain in their homes
throughout the construction period. Works started on site in
summer 2009 and should be completed by the end of
2011.

Work has started on site to develop 62 retirement flats in Rustington,
offering a mix of rented and shared equity homes. 56 of the properties will be extra care, and the remaining six
flats will be for people with learning disabilities. These will
be located in a separate wing of the scheme, with secure access
and will have their own dining room and lounge.
The scheme has all the usual extra care features, but
also boasts an attractive triple-height reception atrium, pamper
suite, meeting room facilities and greenhouse. Work is expected
to be complete in 2012.

Work has started on an extra care development of 62 rented
apartments in Eastbourne. The properties are due to be completed
at the end of 2012. The scheme has been grant funded by the
Homes and Communities Agency.
We are working on the detailed design of a new
environmentally-friendly development in Horsham. There will be
37 properties and work is expected to start in the autumn 2010.
The new homes will consist of a mix of those that meet Level 4
or 5 of the Code for Sustainable Homes and Passivhaus
properties. The Passivhaus homes will not require a conventional
heating system due to a highly insulated, airtight structure. A
mechanical heat recovery system will provide the ventilation.
Works have started on site with Trinity Homes to complete 18
homes for general needs rent in Hailsham. The scheme is being
grant funded by the Homes and Communities Agency and completion
is anticipated for Summer 2011.
We have received planning permission for 17 one and
two-bedroom flats at our Norfolk Court site for rent and shared
ownership. The development
will also involve some environmental improvements to the
internal and external communal areas of the existing flats.
We have now completed phase one of this development in
Eastleigh. Phase one consisted of 30 retirement properties for
rent. Work has now begun on phase two of the project which
consists 30 general needs properties, 10 of which will be for
shared ownership purchase. Work is expected to be complete in
spring 2011.
This development is being grant funded by the Homes and
Communities Agency.
We have received planning permission to develop two
four-bedroom houses and a three-bedroom wheelchair-accessible
bungalow for rent on a garage site in Storrington.
