We’re pleased to share that we will soon be working in partnership with TSG Building Services plc to help deliver our gas service.
Who are TSG?
TSG Building Services plc are an award-winning, multi-disciplined building services and construction company. They have extensive experience supporting organisations across a wide range of sectors, including social housing.
Why is TSG taking over our gas servicing?
TSG are family-run specialists in maintenance, plumbing and gas servicing. They have operated for over 60 years, successfully serving housing associations and local authorities with gas servicing and repairs, using their team of over 200 staff.
By outsourcing our gas servicing work to TSG, our customers will receive an enhanced service, more detailed inspections of the home appliances, and a dedicated call centre for appointments.
Outsourcing this service also has the benefit of giving our HomeFix team considerably more time to attend to plumbing repairs, replacements of boilers and central heating systems, as well as attend to out of hours boiler breakdowns. This all adds up to a better service for our customers.
What will TSG be responsible for?
TSG will be taking over the servicing and issuing of gas safety certificates for domestic gas boilers in our residents’ homes.
When will the contract begin and how long will it last?
Our initial two-year contract with TSG will start on 01 April 2022.
Who will cover boiler breakdowns and repairs?
While TSG will cover our gas servicing, our HomeFix team will continue to look after boiler breakdowns and repairs.
