If you have been a public sector tenant for more than three years, you may be entitled to purchase your home under the right to buy or right to acquire schemes.
The right to buy
The right to buy provides people who were tenants of the local authority when Saxon Weald took over the council's housing stock the chance to purchase their home at a discounted rate. Find out more about the right to buy.
The right to acquire
The right to acquire relates to those tenants who wish to purchase their home, but have become tenants since Saxon Weald (or another housing association) took over the local authority housing stock. Find out more about the right to acquire.
There are some exceptions to the right to acquire. Please call us to check if they apply to your home, and also to find out what discounts you are eligible for.
