Affordable rent

The majority of our homes are rented flats or houses. Tenants are generally referred to us by their local authority and together we aim to provide housing to those that need it most.

Once tenants are living in one of our properties, we do our best to ensure that their home is maintained to a high standard. We have an in-house repairs service, called HomeFix, which carries out the majority of our repairs work and also have an asset management team dedicated to monitoring, maintaining, improving and modernising our homes.

Retirement

We specialise in providing homes and services to older people, with around 20% of our housing stock being made up of retirement flats and bungalows. We manage 47 retirement schemes, which allow older people to retain their independence, in their own flat or bungalow, with the added benefit of having a scheme manager should they need them. For those who require more support, our extra-care properties provide 24-hour care and monitoring, including added features such as walk-in showers and motion detectors.

Shared ownership

As the growth in the shared ownership sector continues, so does our commitment to building and providing properties for low cost home ownership, sometimes called part-buy/part-rent. We have already completed a number of new developments offering first time buyers the chance to get on the property ladder by purchasing a 50% share in their home. The over 60s also have the opportunity to invest in their home, by purchasing a 75% share.
